A lightning strike that struck a ranch in Jose Maria Morelos, California on Tuesday evening has killed two men and injured two others. One of the dead was Enrique “N” the owner of the ranch, and the other two were ranch workers. The two injured, one man and one woman, were transferred to hospital. The accident happened as one of the many lightning storms passing through the state made its way across the western municipality of Jose Marie Morelos.

Jose Maria Morelos, Q.R. — A lightning strike that hit a ranch in Jose Maria Morelos has left two dead. On Tuesday evening, two men were killed and two others injured after lightning hit near where they were working.
One of the deceased has been identified as Enrique “N”, the owner of the ranch. The scond man killed, Angel “N”, was a ranch hand. The two injured, one man and one woman, where also ranch workers.
All four were outside working when lightning struck the ground. Emergency 911 was made aware of the incident who responded with Municipal Police agents and paramedics. Medical personnel confirmed the death of the two men. The other two workers were transferred to hospital.
The accident happened around 6:15 p.m. as one of the many lightning storms passing through the state made its way across the western municipality of Jose Marie Morelos Tuesday.
